Young Audiences (YA) is pleased to announce that New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania public or private preK-12 schools can once again receive free programming through YA’s Arts Lab.

A Young Audiences Arts Lab grant can be used to schedule any of our teaching artist-led programs. Opportunities include assemblies, workshops, residencies, professional learning, and community evening events.

Programs are designed to enhance curriculum, expand the arts experiences of students and teachers, and create a long-term impact on schools and the community through the arts.

Applications are accepted now on a rolling basis through December 11. Priority will be given to schools with free/reduced lunch rate above 40% and schools that can show significant cuts to their arts education and/or school budgets. Residencies will occur during the 2025-2026 school year.

Arts Lab allows schools and YA staff to design programming that meets the curricular and student needs of each partner school.  YA’s professional teaching artists bring experiences to schools including performances, workshops, professional learning, and community and family arts nights.
