Working with Woods Services to help launch their new Medical Center for Autism at RWJ Hamilton
This past November, we worked with our longtime client Woods System of Care to help them launch a new medical center for autism at RWJ Barnabas Hamilton. Prior to the event, we assisted their communications team in developing a video strategy to maximize coverage of their grand opening. We learned from our meetings that there was going to be a set of speeches at the podium, they’d be giving tours of the new medical facility, tables would be set up for socializing, and that we’d want to capture interviews of key individuals.
What we proposed (and delivered) was a set of 7 videos, each with a unique focus on the importance of delivering medical care to individuals with complex needs. We delivered a next-day 1-minute highlight that showcased the event, a longer 2-minute highlight that focused on the importance of opening such a medical center in Hamilton, and five 30-second interview shorts that spoke to specific challenges or achievements. This combination of videos allowed them to quickly share the news, relay the importance and spread the message out over a longer period of time.
Our approach to events varies based on the situation and how the final video will be used, but our main focus is always on the story! We work with your existing communications/marketing team to help develop the perfect messaging that feels genuine and on-brand.
