Dr. Sahila Launches Free Yoga in the Park Series to Promote Community Wellness
This summer, local residents are invited to breathe deeply, stretch freely, and reconnect with nature at "Free Yoga in the Park", a new wellness initiative led by Dr. Sahila, M.D., an Internal Medicine physician and a holistic wellness coach.
Beginning this weekend, free yoga sessions will be held every Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 AM at West Windsor Community Park. The sessions are open to all levels and completely free of charge.
“As a physician, I’ve seen how chronic stress and disconnection from nature can impact overall health,” said Dr. Sahila. “These yoga sessions are my way of giving back — creating space for people to reset their minds, energize their bodies, and feel supported by a like-minded community.”
Each session will include gentle yoga postures, breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation, designed to help participants build strength, reduce stress, and start the day with clarity and calm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats, water bottles, and an open heart.
No prior yoga experience is necessary. The sessions are family-friendly and adaptable for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.
