Project Manager/Estimator/Sales

Greenleaf Painters is a quality focused and customer centric painting and carpentry company. We pride ourselves in providing a responsive and caring experience for our customers. Our service area is the central New Jersey region and eastern Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

I. Scope of Responsibilities

A.  Make estimate calls, write them up and follow up with prospective customers.

            B.  Oversee work sites from start to finish, which includes starting and closing jobs.

C.  Keep sites supplied with needed materials. Includes loading and unloading extension ladders, power washers, carpentry tools, paint supplies, etc.

            D. Keep work vans maintained with oil changes, inspections, etc.

II. Specific Duties 

Purchase supplies as needed.

Coordinate shared responsibilities of estimating and site management with Greenleaf’s other Project Manager.

Set clear expectations with crews about job performance and quality control.

Keep customers, painters, and other managers in the loop with clear communication.

Ensure that projects are completed within time frame and budget of the project. Be certain the finished product meets the exacting standards of Greenleaf.

Be responsible for tracking job receipts and calculating job profitability for each project.

Keep shop area organized, and equipment maintained.

III. Qualifications

Must have 10 years of professional painting experience and at least 3-5 years of project management and sales/estimating experience (carpentry experience a plus).

Be available 45-50 hours per week, 7:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday and evening estimates.

Maintain a professional demeanor including proper cleanliness and appearance. Be firm, but gentle in interactions with painters. Demonstrate a relaxed, friendly manner with customers. Remain calm in difficult situations. Integrity and honesty are necessary in this position.

Be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects.

Valid Driver’s license.

Spanish fluency a plus.
