Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time or full-time Nurse Practitioner who is eager to join our growing practice helping us to achieve our mission of empowering our patients to live healthier lives. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrative medicine and/or functional medicine and a passion for helping people achieve optimal health.


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial Patient Evaluations and assessment to determine appropriate testing and care plan.

- Conduct patient follow-ups, ensuring all treatment plans are being followed and making any necessary adjustments.

- Order supplements and labs as required, ensuring all orders are accurate and timely

- Track patient outcomes and gather testimonials and referrals to support the growth of our practice.

- Collaborate with other Health Practitioners, include MDs, NPs, PAs, Health Coaches, Nutritional Consultants and others, ensuring they are providing the support and guidance our patients need.

- Utilize EHR system and other technologies to ensure that all patient information is accurately recorded and easily accessible.

- Additional responsibilities may include participating in community events, providing educational resources to patients, leading open Q&A sessions for our patients, and staying up-to-date with the latest research in functional medicine.


Qualifications:

- A passion to serve and empower people, to connect on a meaningful level, is a team-player, is passionate about the mission of PIH, and demonstrates our core values.

- Able to work full-time, in-person at least 2 full days (and up to 4.5 days) a week.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Comfortable interpreting and managing functional lab testing (e.g. stool, blood/urine hormones, heavy metals, environmental toxins, and mycotoxins etc.).

- Collaboratively manage patients through a team approach (with other functional medicine providers, Health Coaches & Patient Care Coordinators).

- Adept at having crucial conversations to coach people forward in their care plan.

- Certified in Functional Medicine, on-track to be certified in Functional Medicine, or willing to be certified in Functional Medicine.

- Preferably at least 5 years of medical practitioner experience.
