Description

ARM IN ARM SPRING BENEFIT – ALL COMMUNITIES THRIVE: working together to deepen our impact in the community Arm In Arm is excited to be hosting their annual Spring benefit on Thursday, May 16th from 5:30-9 pm at the Social Profit Center at Mill One, in Hamilton, NJ. All Communities Thrive: working together to deepen our impact in the community promises to be a wonderful event at which community friends and partners gather together to celebrate Arm In Arm’s mission. The evening will begin at 5:30 pm with event registration and a cocktail/hors d’oeuvres reception catered by Occasions by Cintron. During this time, attendees will have the opportunity to tour Arm In Arm’s Food Distribution Center, see their Mobile Food Pantry and engage with the Arm In Arm community and staff. Attendees will also be able to learn more about volunteering and participate in a creative wine-pull that will help to provide groceries for families in need. We are thrilled to be welcoming Trenton Circus Squad as our Community Sponsor, and members of their coaching team, will be on-hand during the cocktail reception, sharing their talents and captivating attendees. Members of Yes We CAN! Food Drives will also be available to share details about the work they do to help provide for the community. A buffet dinner and inspiring program, featuring a panel of Arm In Arm staff who are working in the community to help our neighbors thrive, will be kicked off with an introduction from Taraun Tice McKnight, Esq., Deputy County Administrator and Director of the Mercer County Department of Human Services. Arm In Arm Executive Director, David R. Fox, shared, “I am excited that attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from our staff, who are working on-the-ground every day to bring families a little bit closer to stability. Our neighbors face great challenges; our staff will share their stories and what Arm In Arm is doing to help them. I think this will be incredibly inspiring for our attendees. Our new Deputy County Administrator, Taraun Tice McNight, will also be sharing the role that Arm In Arm—then The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County—played in her development and her observations so far in our county’s effort to help our neighbors in need.” Since 1980, Arm In Arm has provided support for low-income Mercer County, NJ families, helping people to improve their economic circumstances and well-being, and connecting them to resources that can help them to thrive. All Communities Thrive seeks to harness the power of community to raise both awareness and funding to support Arm In Arm’s critical mission and will highlight Arm In Arm’s efforts to do even more to help and empower our struggling neighbors on their paths to stability, and ultimately self-sufficiency.
