The Empower Run & Walk gives you the chance to help make strides for positive futures!

As you may know, Center For Family Services expanded its reach of services this past December with its merge with LifeTies, Inc. This union continues 40 years of service to youth in the Mercer County region through the LifeTies mentoring program, The PRIDE Center, Triad House, and Mary’s Place.

Center for Family Services are welcoming community members to run or walk in support of and commitment to the people served by programs across New Jersey. Through your past support, you transformed the lives of countless individuals, provided resources for families to heal together, and reduced the effects of trauma and violence in our shared communities! 

You can register as an individual or you can be a team captain and rally friends and family to join your team. 

You can run or walk in support of: 

-youth and families across NJ and in Mercer County 

-health, wellness, and personal growth 

-enjoyment of the outdoors

-raising funds to change lives 

-healing & empowerment of a survivor 

-the pathway to recovery 

-strong families and communities 

-in honor or in memory of someone 

Your involvement in the Empower Run & Walk will support urgent needs to help people across New Jersey. Your involvement will help to change lives. You have the option to direct your donation to meet the needs in a specific area of service: 

-A safe home and strong future for a teen in need of a safe place to live. 

-Counseling and support groups to help a person maintain life in recovery. 

-Compassionate counseling for a person grieving the loss of a loved one, including loss to homicide, suicide, or an opioid overdose. 

-Trauma Informed Care and Suicide Prevention training for a school or business. 

-Peer-to-peer coaching and support services for a family with a loved one in recovery. 

-Services to support and affirm the LGBTQIA+ community.

As a participant, you will receive an Empower Run & Walk event t-shirt and goody bag. Can't make join us in person? Join us virtually for the Empower Run & Walk from Friday, September 22nd thru Sunday, September 24th. The virtual event takes place in the location of your choice. You can walk or run wherever you may be, at any time during the race time frame, you choose your location and run a 5K or 10K or walk 1 or more miles, you chose the distance. It’s completely up to you!
