Mrs. G Appliances Raises the Bar with “Historic” Chamber Networking
There’s a reason why Mrs. G Appliances hosts the first Business After Business networking event for the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber every year. The Mrs. G team always manages to exceed expectations, inspiring guests with positive energy that sets the tone for the rest of the year.
This year’s kickoff Business After Business was no exception as Mrs. G Appliances hosted more than 230 attendees on February 19 at their showroom on Business Route 1 in Lawrence Township. The President’s Day theme honored our founding fathers and mothers while creating opportunities to forge new business connections.
Third-generation owner and CEO Debbie Schaeffer – and her much-anticipated costume – did not disappoint, honoring Mercy Otis Warren, a founding mother who helped shape the narrative of the Revolutionary War era with her words and wisdom. Customer Experience Director Andrea Churner portrayed Abigail Adams, another powerful figure of the American Revolution, while George and Martha Washington made a special appearance.
Mrs. G also welcomed local institutions that work hard to preserve our region’s rich history, including Morven Museum and Garden, Princeton University Art Museum, and Washington Crossing State Park.
“Debbie and her team go above and beyond to create a truly special experience for Chamber members and future members,” said Christine Curnan, Vice President of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber. “You’re surrounded by these gorgeous, high-end appliances but the showroom is anything but stuffy. They create unique culinary experiences and a fun atmosphere that’s perfect for making new connections and building relationships.”

Lenders Capital Realty Services President George Gnad, attending his first Chamber event since becoming a member, was grateful for the networking opportunity and walked away with several new connections.
“The event was very well-attended and festive with the President’s Day theme,” George said. “I’ve already followed up with a few people I met and look forward to continuing those conversations. Mrs. G’s is an impressive store, with premium brands and representatives available to answer questions. It was definitely a good use of my time and I plan to attend as many events as I’m able.”
Of course, successful Chamber events would not be possible without our event sponsors – our sound sponsor, 107.7 The Bronc, and our photography sponsor, Tim Sexton Photography. Special thanks to Open Door Vallet for providing valet parking services and Brothers Pizza and Blend Restaurant for delicious catering, as well as Chef Mary Beth Madill, Thermador Corporate Chef Eric, and The Sharp Team for showcasing the future of cooking.
Thank you again to Debbie Schaeffer and Mrs. G Appliances for your hospitality, hard work, and commitment to the businesses, organizations, and families of our region. This was truly a historic networking event!
