Mercer Council Honored by the Mercer County Bar Association
Mercer Council is proud to announce that we have been recognized by the Mercer County Bar Association (MCBA) for our longstanding commitment to substance use and behavioral health prevention and early intervention in our community. This meaningful honor was presented on November 13, 2025, highlighting the powerful impact of our work over the past 47 years.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Brian Shea, Esq., President of the MCBA, for nominating our agency for this recognition. We are deeply grateful for this acknowledgment of our mission, our programs, and the collaborative partnerships that strengthen our ability to serve Mercer County.
Representing Mercer Council’s executive team at the celebration were Catherine Arulmohan and Margarita Leahy, who accepted the award on behalf of our dedicated staff, board members, and community partners. This recognition shines a light on the collective efforts that make prevention and early intervention possible — and effective.
For more than four decades, Mercer Council has remained steadfast in our mission to create pathways to reduce substance and behavioral health-related challenges through education, support, advocacy, and community partnerships. This award reflects not only our history, but our ongoing commitment to championing prevention for years to come.
Thank you to the Mercer County Bar Association for this incredible honor — and thank you to our community for continuing to walk alongside us in this important work.
