Duncan Harrison Jr. Joins CHSofNJ as Chief Advancement Officer

 

May 30, 2025 Trenton, NJ — The Children's Home Society of New Jersey (CHSofNJ), a cornerstone of child and family services in the state for more than 130 years, proudly announces the appointment of Duncan Harrison Jr. as its new Chief Advancement Officer. Duncan joins the organization at a pivotal time as CHSofNJ builds on more than a century of service to children and families across New Jersey.


"I am honored to join CHSofNJ at such a critical and hopeful time,” said Duncan. “This organization has been a lifeline for generations of families. I look forward to working alongside a dedicated team and community to elevate our mission, expand our impact, and continue to build a sustainable future for families in need." Most recently, Duncan served as the Assistant Director of Regional Affairs at Princeton University. Throughout his 20+ year career, Duncan has helped accelerate systems transformation and is recognized for his ability to lead with purpose, mobilize support, and bridge common and uncommon partners.


His appointment coincides with a transformative period of leadership and strategic growth for CHSofNJ. “We are thrilled to welcome Duncan to our leadership team during this exciting time of growth and renewal at CHSofNJ,” said Julie Dees, Chief Executive Officer. “His deep expertise, passion for our mission, and strong ties to the Trenton community and beyond make him uniquely positioned to help lead us forward.
