Deborah Heart and Lung Center Welcomes Reginald J. Blaber, MD, FACC, MBA
Browns Mills, NJ – Deborah Heart and Lung Center is pleased to welcome cardiologist Reginald J. Blaber, MD, FACC, MBA to its medical team. Dr. Blaber brings more than 25 years of clinical and leadership experience to Deborah.
Dr. Blaber most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Virtua Health where he led system-wide efforts to improve quality, patient safety and physician engagement. Dr. Blaber’s prior roles include President of Lourdes Health System and President of Lourdes Cardiology Services where he led initiatives that earned national recognition for quality and patient experience. He also served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and was instrumental in revitalizing its cardiac surgery program.

Board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography and Internal Medicine, Dr. Blaber earned his Doctor of Medicine from Hahnemann University and completed his cardiology fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital where he served as Chief Fellow. He holds an MBA from Villanova University and is a U.S. Army Medical Corps veteran, having completed his internal medicine residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Blaber has been active in medical education with the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine and has served on multiple statewide health boards including the New Jersey Hospital Association and the New Jersey Cardiovascular Health Advisory Panel. He is the recipient of numerous honors including multiple Top Doc awards and the Medal of Excellence from the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine.
