Gian Carlo Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors is an uplifting, inspirational opera of two children joined by faith on the eve of the Nativity. A poor mother and her disabled son, Amahl, who has a penchant for tall tales, open their humble home to the Three Kings on their westward, star-guided quest. What begins as a respite on the road to Bethlehem becomes a journey of learning, love and healing. Adult tickets are $30. Children 12 & under attend free of charge, but require a ticket and must ber accompanied by an adult.
