Come out to the farm to give back to the community! We are looking for volunteers to help harvest produce for our neighbors in need.
What started as a small family garden with extra produce, is now America's Grow-a-Row, a 423-acre farm and 501(c)3 nonprofit that donates over 4 million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables each year to hunger relief agencies - 100% of what we harvest is donated!
Our free volunteer events run Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, mid-June through mid-November. We welcome volunteers of all ages and skill levels. No prior experience or tools are necessary! All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
A typical volunteer day includes:
8:50 am: Arrival and welcome
9:00-9:15 am: Introduction to our mission and why your volunteering makes a difference.
9:15 am-12:00 pm: Hands-on harvesting of crops like zucchini, eggplant, corn, tomatoes, and more.
Please sign up using our individual volunteer calendar https://bit.ly/agarCalendar

ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST REGISTER AT LEAST ONE DAY IN ADVANCE SO THAT WE CAN EMAIL YOU THE FARM LOCATION.
